And so the heat wave begins. This week is going to be hot. The mornings are not to bad but thee afternoons will be intense. June Gloom is to be expected later in the week so expect a chill and maybe even a bit of rain.
IT'S SUMMER TIME!
Summer in New York is always hot. June won't be to bad this year. The afternoons are boiling but the mornings are not to bad. A few light showers are to be expected and even a few thunderstorms.

Character Creation
Registration (1 sub-board) Come here to register a new character. Remember though: Only one character per an account.
Plotting Need to add some spice to your character's life? Or do you just want to keep their affairs in order? Either way this is the place to do it. This area is open to all members that have registered their character.
First Area First Area is were you'll find the most high end apartments. Only the richest of the rich can afford these housing options.

Second Area Second Area is for those who have a "comfortable" income. The apartments are decent, though they're not anything special.

Third Area Third Area is the lowest of standars. Housing is at its most basic level. Housing here is extremely cheap, or sometimes even free.

New York City
King's & Queen's King's & Queen's is the local pool hall and pub. There's twelve pool tables and several bars inside the building. Drinks are cheap and games are free. The hall is usually filled with people not of the best character. From time to time the cops have been called to break up a fight. If you want to relax, you might want to get a drink.

Lotus The Lotus club is one of the most exclusive clubs in the city. It's long and glorious history consists of awards parties, national fundraisers, and celebrity birthdays. But when the Lotus isn't holding events it's open to the public. So come on in and party.

Coney Island Coney Island has been around for ages. It's known for it's amusement parks the area has recieved some neglect. Some of the parks are still running and a new one has just opened, but a few have been shut down. None the less, the area is still popular with natives and tourists alike.

Central Park The area that is central park has been around since the ice age. Literally. With the glaciers long gone though Central Park has become one of the most beautiful places. People enjoy jogging here or just going to excape the city for a bit. Just watch it at night, it's easy to get lost here in the dark.
Times Square Midtown is a very popular area. There's food, shopping, entertainment, and sight seeing. This is the perfect place to wine down at after work or school.
Race Track The track is the number one place to come and gamble. Flocks of people travel here on the weekends to test their luck and try to win. Some win big, some lose big. But no matter what happens they're always back next weekend.

Fields The Fields were closed off and privately in an effort to preserve of New York's natural land scape. Now that the area has revived itself it's open to visitor. It really is a lovely place.

Anderson Anderson is a small town about an hours drive outside of New York City. It has a quiet, serene feel. Although it can seem ghostly at times.

It's finaly done. The site has been completely redone. All the links should work, if they do not, please alert a staff member. Same goes for any grammar or spelling mistakes. Anyways, looks like we'll be sticking with the new plot, as well as the new skin. The first Spotlights will be chosen next month so prepare. Other then that, not much is going on.

So, the site has been completely re-vamped. As you can see there is a completely new template. Along with the new template comes a few new updates. All the sign up form will be removed from their pre-formatted forms into simple posts where they can be easily found. Also, the plot has been extended and rewritten. Canons will be available soon.

Ah, finally finished! It took some serious work but THE HURT is open. We're looking for members now(of course) so please take a look around and see if you want to join. We also need staff... But that's a pursuit for another day. If you're interested though please PM me on any of my accounts.
